Before the social network came into existence, I used '2thePoint' when commenting or chatting. I've kept that name because that's what most people know me as... 2tP, Points, Pointer, etc. Sorry for any confusion.
Adding a friend can be confusing... here's how you do it: Go to the 'Members' tab at the top of your screen. Type in the name of the person you want to add as a friend. Their page comes up... look at the left-hand column under their name. You'll see 'Add as friend' (or something similar). Click on that and send your friend request.
